We are excited to share some wonderful news—our team has been selected to present at the 8th International Conference on Prevention & Infection Control (ICPIC), taking place 16–19 September 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland!
What is ICPIC?
ICPIC is International Conference on Prevention & Infection Control. Since its founding, it has become one of the world’s leading gatherings for infection prevention, control, and innovation. The conference attracts experts, scientists, healthcare professionals, and innovators from around the world. It is a unique forum to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of preventing healthcare associated infections and control of antimicrobial resistance. Ultimate goal of these efforts is to improve patient and healthcare worker safety, worldwide.
We are honored to be included in this dynamic, international community of professionals who change the world.
What We’ll Be Presenting
We will share two highlights of our work at ICPIC 2025:
- Our Research Presentation
Our study, Inclusive Innovation: Using a Music-Based App to Improve Hand Hygiene in Students with Disabilities, will be presented during the scientific sessions. This research highlights the impact of our Bubble Beats Hand Hygiene Trainer (BBT/HHT)—an interactive, music-based game designed to teach and reinforce proper handwashing technique. While we’ve studied its effects in both general student populations and health academies, the focus of this work is on students with disabilities preparing for life and work readiness.
If you are interested to find out what our results show – come to the conference, or tune in virtually.
- Our Video in the CLIP Award Competition
Our video, Interactive Hand Hygiene Trainer for Students with Disabilities, was selected as a finalist for the CLIP Award—and we’d love your support! This video is a result of a family effort, from idea, and deciding what type of video to create choosing the topic, selecting video style, creating a storyboard, recording, editing, previewing, making final edits and sharing.

Bubble Beats Trainer Handwashing App
The Bubble Beats Hand Hygiene Trainer is a fun, music-driven digital game that guides players through each step of proper handwashing and helps them develop better handwashing habit. It transforms a simple hygiene task into an engaging, skill-building experience. That is especially valuable for students with disabilities who overall love this type of interactive, accessible approaches to learning.
